According to new reports, on April 30, Remy Ma was arrested after allegedly assaulting Brittney Taylor! Apparently, Ma punched the Love and Hip Hop star in the face while at a concert last month.

Law enforcements shared with TMZ that Remy Ma was taken into custody for misdemeanor assault.

Brittney told the authorities that Remy punched her in the right eye backstage at a Pretty Lou Benefit Concert on April 16.

She also asked the police to try and find evidence such as surveillance camera footage of the attack during the investigation.

At this time, it is unnknown whether they have or not.

Sanford Rubenstein, Brittney’s legal representative confirmed via TMZ that the incident was not a PR move but that she was really attacked.

As for the reason why she decided to take action against Remy, she apparently did it because she ‘has confidence in our system of justice and will continue to fully cooperate with the authorities.’

In the days after the assault, Brittney allegedly went to the hospital before finally reporting her.

NYPD released a statement about the case via HollywoodLife saying in part: ‘A 29 year old female reported she was punched by a 38 year old female sustaining bruises to her right eye. The victim received treatment at Mt. Sinai Hospital for her injuries. There are still no arrests at this time and the investigation is ongoing.’

Now, Remy’s lawyer, Sanford Rubenstein tells the same outlet that ‘I have been notified as to what Remy’s charges are and as I understand them, they are assault in the 3rd degree misdemeanor, aggravated harassment in the 2nd degree and harassment in the 2nd degree.’
