Frankie Edgar Children: Meet Francesco Edgar And Santino James Edgar – Frankie Edgar is a former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Lightweight Champion who most recently competed in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Bantamweight division.
After successfully defending his lightweight title several times, Frankie Edgar moved up to featherweight.
Frankie Edgar lost his first fight at UFC Fight Night 13 to Gray Maynard. This was the first of a series of fights. Maynard won the match unanimously by defeating Edgar with his strength and wrestling prowess.

He was born and raised in Toms River, New Jersey. He wrestled at Toms River East and advanced to the New Jersey state finals three times, finishing second as a junior and fifth as a senior.

He had only received brief outside wrestling-related training prior to his first mixed martial arts match.
Frankie Edgar began his training with Rhino Fight Team member Rob Guarino, but he is now a member of the Gracie system in Hamilton, New Jersey, where he works with Gracie Barra team member Ricardo Almeida.

Since the seventh grade, he has competed against Steve Rivera at Jackson, New Jersey’s Elite Wrestling NJ. His boxing coach’s name is Mark Henry, and he is from Millstone, New Jersey.
Edgar had a 5-0 record prior to auditioning for season five of The Ultimate Fighter. Edgar tried out for the show in front of UFC president Dana White and matchmaker Joe Silva, but was not chosen.

Frankie Edgar is known to be a father. He is currently a father of three and the names of his children are Francesco Edgar, Santino James Edgar, and Valentina.
Francesco is the oldest child, and he was born in 2009, and this was a year after Frankie married his wife, Reene. The second child, Santino James was born in 2010, whiles the youngest child, Valentina was born in 2014.
