Days ago, pictures surfaced of Nicole and Antoine Fuqua in Italy smooching each other. The only problem is, he’s married to actress Lela Rochon.
Initially, Nicole claimed that they were just two friends that shared a friendly hello after running into each other. Her original statement made things worse because they were photographed locking lips in multiple positions.
After being called out by commentators on social media, she took the apologetic route with TMZ.
‘Without going into the entire situation, I want to apologize to my family, and to Lela and the Fuqua family for what transpired. It was not my intention to be in this situation. I do not condone women kissing or interacting in anyway inappropriately with a married man. I too was once married and I would never intentionally undermine another woman, despite what has been written.’
It sounds like Nicole is insinuating that Fuqua made her believe that he was single but she didn’t come outright and say it.
