According to a report from SOHH.com, A$AP Rocky doesn’t have any intentions of going back to Sweden anytime soon. Hailing from Harlem, New York, the hip-hop performer apparently doesn’t want to go back to the Scandinavian country at all following his controversial assault case for which he is currently awaiting a verdict.
Reportedly, A$AP won’t be returning to the country, where he was accused of assaulting a 19-year-old, with two of his other friends and bodyguards. Sources who spoke with TMZ said that Rocky was certain he and his co-defendants wouldn’t be getting a guilty verdict.
On account of the fact the Swedish authorities allowed him and his friends to go home, the rapper and the other men in the case are wholly convinced they won’t be convicted of the crime. Insiders who spoke to Complex made this claim earlier this week.
Rocky, née Rakim Mayers, apparently doesn’t have to return to Sweden to hear the verdict. It was reported earlier that a judge said the sentencing, as well as the verdict, would be determined on the 14th of August.

In other words, the rapper’s presence in the courtroom isn’t necessary. On Friday night, many of his cohorts in the entertainment industry, including Tyler The Creator, Future, and Drake, shouted out to him on social media.
Followers of the case know that it was quite controversial, even the president, Donald Trump, commented on the matter on social media and claims to have discussed the court case with the Prime Minister of Sweden, Stefan Löfven.
Trump assured his followers and the citizens of the United States of America that the conversation between himself and the PM of Sweden was courteous. However, at a later date, Trump took to Twitter again to voice his displeasure over the fact the PM wasn’t able to influence the legal proceedings.
